The Cross Keys Practice is a traditional surgery with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Our aim is to provide modern, up-to-date, high quality medical care to all our patients in a friendly, relaxing environment, to maintain the traditional values of the "Family Doctor" and yet be in the forefront of future developments in General Practice. Senior Partner, qualified at Royal Free Hospital in 1992 and joined the practice in 1998. Special interests are dermatology and medical education. Usual consulting days - Mon AM/PM, Tues AM, Wed AM/PM and Thu AM/PM

Qualified at Warwick University in 2009. Initially joined the practice as a registrar in 2013 and as a partner in 2015. Usual consulting days - Mon AM/PM, Wed AM/PM and Fri AM.

Qualified in Sheffield University 2001. Interest in cardiology and medical education. Joined the practice in 2023. Usual consulting days Mon, Tue and Thu AM/PM.

Locum GP's

We have several Locum GP's who work with us on an adhoc basis. A locum GP is a fully qualified GP that fulfils the duties of another, absent, GP within a doctors surgery.

Nurse Practitioners and Specialist Paramedic

JAYNE WELLBELOVE

Joined the practice in 2006. Qualifications include: BA(hons) adult nursing, BSc(hons) post graduate specialist nurse practitioner primary care, Independant prescriber (M level), Diploma in family planning and Heart Save diploma in CHD. Jayne holds our Woman's Drop In Clinic on a Tuesday afternoon.

JANE SETCHELL

Joined the practice in 2012. Qualifications include: RGN/RN (child), Dip and BSc(hons) child health and nursing. Also trained in family planning, non-medical prescribing and minor illness. Special interests include child health, neurodiversity and spinal injuries.

CHRISTOPHER MCGHIE

Joined the Practice in 2023. Qualifications include Masters level certificates in physical assessment, clinical reasoning, minor illness, minor injury and leadership. Qualified as a Paramedic in 2007, with a career including leadership and specialist roles.

Reception Team

Our receptionists are there to help with all appointments, messages and enquires. We are unable to give out any information to family members or friends unless written consent from the patient has been given to the Practice. Please understand that this is a stipulation of the Data Protection Act and is for the protection of our patients.

ELAINE BUNCE

Reception Manager

Joined the practice in February 2012 and manages our team of receptionists in Chinnor and Princes Risborough.

The practice employs four secretaries who process and manage referrals on behalf of the GP's.

The Practice employs a team of administrators who deal with the day to day required activities and ensure the smooth running of the practice as well as assisting the GP's process paperwork and registrations.

Workflow Team

Our Workflow team are trained in the process of workflow optimisation, a process designed to support our clinicians by effectively and safely reading, coding, actioning, and completing the processing of clinical correspondence.
